Come aboard to one of the top luxury trains in the world namely the ‘Palace on wheels’. The palace on wheels is all about luxury and getting indulged in kingly ambience, no doubt it fills you with such high spirits as it embarks on its journey almost all over India. Counted among the top ten luxurious trains in the entire world, ‘Palace on Wheels’ is truly majestic in its kind.

The journey initiates from Delhi and makes its way through the princely cities of Jaipur, Jodhpur and more. The ‘Palace on Wheels’ takes you on a trip to all the magnificent forts and palaces of Rajasthan in just a week’s time.  ‘Palace on wheels’ is all about lavishness, it is an opportunity for the people of today’s time who are always found enslaved in the stereotypical jobs,  to travel back in time to the era of kings and queens. The journey is mainly availed for eight days-seven nights but people can also book for five days according to their needs, therefore this train also adheres to people’s preference. The tour’s planning is arranged in such a way that the tourists savour the comfort of sleeping in centralised AC deluxe cabins at night and during the day time they delight themselves by sightseeing along with their fellow travellers in AC buses. There are 14 deluxe saloons which are completely air conditioned and self-sufficient and facilitated with all the day to day modern amenities.

 

We cannot stress enough on the facilities and construction of the train because they have an unending list of goodness. With 39 deluxe cabins and 2 super deluxe cabins, 82 passengers can avail in the train. Furthermore, the glee is added because of the two resto-bars and ayurvedic spa facilities with WIFI available throughout. The journey is made throughout Rajasthan’s great forts and visiting Delhi’s Taj Mahal is an added wonder to this trip. The journey costing during the high season begins from around INR 3, 63,300 for a single person availing the deluxe cabin on single occupancy and the super deluxe on both single and double occupancy for around INR 7, 56,000. During the low seasons, the former can be booked for INR 2, 73, 000 and the latter for INR 7, 56, 000 for one.

Having talked about this train, this must be told that ‘Palace on Wheels’ aims at spending on something worthy of remembering and makes the visit impossible to forget.
