Route 2: Another domestic airport is Jubbarhatti airport which is down 20 km from Shimla. You can hire a taxi or any local bus to commute to Shimla and the same from there to Shoghi. Just check before you go, this airport is occasionally functional.
Route 3: The nearest railway station is Kalka which is located approximately 90 km from Shimla. To cover the distance between Kalka and Shimla you need to hire a taxi because there is no direct flight, bus or train available. If you want to enjoy a toy train ride, that is available from Kalka only but it’s going to take 5 hours to reach and via taxi, it will take 3 hours.
